Brandon Jahner is passionate about food product development and innovation. As a confectionery food scientist and president at Foresight Food Research, Brandon supports consulting clients in everything from developing award-winning chocolate and chewy candies to navigating clean label product development with exceptional shelf life. Brandon began his professional career as a product developer contributing to Mars Chocolate's Seasonal & Innovation portfolio for M&M's, SNICKER'S, and TWIX bars. His primary passion is confectionery, but continues to expand food categories including meat alternatives, natural preservatives, and NA beverages. Brandon is a graduate of BYU Food Science and member of the Institute of Food Technologist (IFT), Professional Manufacturing Confectioners Association (PMCA), and the American Association of Candy Technologist (AACT).
Claire Bingham M.S. Food Scientist Coach
Claire Bingham is committed to helping small and midsize companies launch and grow their brands through meaningful product launches. She helps clients each step of the way from initial concept refining, to lab scale prototyping and factory scale up. Claire began her career as a product developer at Wrigley developing gum and pressed mints contributing to global brands including EXTRA, ORBIT and 5 GUM. She moved into candy development and developed a passion for the creativity and spark that comes with early stage innovation and flavor development. She now consults on all types of confectionery projects and has expanded into both ready to drink & ready to mix beverages, bakery, cannabis and protein. Claire is a graduate of University of Loyola Chicago in Chemistry and went on to the University of Illinois for a graduate degree in Food Science.
Mariam Ingersoll Food Scientist Coach
Mariam Ingersoll, a seasoned product development scientist with 11 years at Wrigley/Mars specializing in gum, mints, and confections, excels in crafting and launching innovative products. Her expertise spans health and wellness, including protein powders, electrolytes, and adaptogens, as well as plant-based offerings like milk, cheese, and yogurt. Other experience includes beverages, covering ready-to-drink and ready-to-mix categories, as well as contributions to personal care products. Holding a Master's in Food Science from the University of Illinois, Mariam blends academic knowledge, hands-on experience, and creative problem solving making her a key player in driving product innovation.
